After Super typhoon Yolanda (
international name: Haiyan) made its landfall in Central Philippines almost two weeks ago, part of my country has been severly devastated. Not counting pets, there are
3,976 confirmed deaths, 1,598 missing and 18,175 injured (source: National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council). Help from all over the world came in.
In our own simple way, Mom and I would like to take this opportunity to say...
From us to the world... THANK YOU!
And me and my mom-person hopes that even moore help and money will come !

Awww sweetie, we're so vvery thankful that you and your family are okay. Our hearts break for those who are injured, missing, dead, and homeless. it's horrible. We do hope the aid is getting thru. About a week ago the report on the news was that they were having difficulty because of infrastructure being so bad too.
ReplyDeleteWe hope that the iad the world is providing is finding it's way -- quickly and efficiently -- to those who need it. We are purring and praying...
ReplyDeleteSushi, you and your mom are always so thoughtful. Mommy sent some money to help the animals. These weather disasters seem to be happening more and more often and getting worse all the time and it so scary. We continue to be thankful that you are safe. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post......and all of your friends here are so glad you and your Mom are alright but feel so terribly sad at all the loss your country has suffered - so many people homeless and many deaths and injured....it's heartbreaking. Any time these things happen all round the world, everyone pulls together and helps and THAT is what warms our hearts. Hugs to you both!
