Happy Valentine's Day!

Mom's flowers from my future Dad

Hi! Mom and I had a talk and we agreed that I will still have my social media, but I have to choose only one for now. Mom's schedule hasn't changed a bit. In fact she's out most of the time. When she gets home, she's very tired. I just jump up the bed and cuddle with her. I miss my Mommy! I bring my toys up her bed hoping she'd play with me. She would for a while then she'd stop, pick me up, kiss me and say, "That's it for now, baby girl. Mommy's very tired." This has been a routine almost everyday. I would have extra play time when my furure Daddy comes to visit. I like it when my furure Daddy's around. I get to play more!

Anyhow, Mom and I agreed to still keep my blog and post once in a while, but I'd probably be more active on my Instagram. This is just a temporary set up while Mom's schedule hasn't changed yet. If you have an Instagram account, please follow me @mysassysushi. Let's keep in touch there! I sure miss all of you. I'm already friends there with Speedy, Kitty Cat Chronicles and Tonk's Tail. I'm hoping to be friends with a more of you which has an IG too.

Happy Valentine's Day!

PeeEss: Both my paws are healed now. Thank you for your purrs. I'm okay now. Love you all!

I'm Wearing Socks!

Me: Mom, I don't want to wear socks!

Mom: Baby, I'm sorry, you have to. You hurt your paws again. If they don't heal then we have to go back to the vet for an operation. I don't want that for you.

Me: It's so uncomfortable, Mom...

Mom: We don't have any choice, Baby. You keep licking them and that's not helping.

Happy 2015

First off, I'd like to greet everyone a HAPPY 2015! Hope all of my furiends and their pawrents are doing good.

I got the package my buddy Speedy sent me. Thank you very much, Speedy! I'm loving my new toys and the treats too!

I posted a video on my IG. Follow me @mysassysushi

Well, not everything is good for me. I injured myself again. Mom and my future Dad (Yup! You read it right. I'm gonna have a Daddy soon) brought me to the vet last night. I hurt my hind paw and my vet said it's worse than my past injuries. My future Dad bought me Espree (paw balm) to help my ultra sensitive paws, but Mom had to set that aside for now until my hind paw is healed.

That's not all. I injured my tail too. I came out of the clinic last night with woofie poodle feet and they shaved the fur on my injured tail.

Can you see my poodle foot? They shaved all four to help the wound heal faster.  I wouldn't let Mom take a photo of my shaved tail though. Meow!

Anyway, Mom is still busy, but she promised to help me do some blog hopping today so I'll see you soon!

Mom! I'm ready! Let's do it!

Merry Christmas!!!

My deepest apology for not being able to update my blog and visiting my furiends online. Mom has been through a lot lately. She's been busy with work and is going through some legal stuff with her lawyer that's why I just let her be for now and try to be the sweetest kitty there is for Mom.

I'm perfectly fine and I've been going places with Mom. It's fun! When Mom's not too busy anymore I will ask her to help me tell you about my adventures. For now, I would like to leave you my sincerest greetings...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I miss you all so much!

Fundraising Friday

Hi Furiends!

As I've mentioned in my last post, I'll be doing a Fundraising Friday post to help care for the less fortunate anipals in my country.  I will be reposting from CARA Philippines' FB page. I really hope you'd help because just a little amount when added up will mean a lot for them.  May God bless your good heart as you give.

This sweet cat was lying weak and helpless by the side of the road when she was spotted by a CARA volunteer. We are not sure what happened to her exactly but she is badly injured with her skin ripped off. Her injuries indicate that she must have been run over by a vehicle, then left alone with a gaping wound that was already starting to rot. We cannot imagine the pain this brave cat had to endure.

The volunteer immediately rescued the cat who is now at the CARA Clinic. He named her PAG-ASA, which means "hope" --- something we must cling to at this point. Pag-asa may be in for the long haul, the healing process is likely to take months. The lovely cat can hardly walk but she can stand up and eat her food. She is also grooming herself, which we take to be a good sign. Another CARA volunteer has kindly offered to foster Pag-asa when she is well enough.

Will you help us save Pag-asa? When her photos were shared on Facebook a few days ago, we already received donations but her daily treatment will be expensive and will take some time. We are hoping you will help us raise more funds for her. Donations in any amount will be much appreciated. To donate to Pag-asa’s medical fund, please see below. Thank you very much!

Easy Sunday

There's a Pet Blessing currently going on at Eastwood City. I missed it. Mom's too tired from yesterday's work event at SMX Convention. I hope there's another one like this next year.

By the way, I will be starting a Fundrasing Friday for anipals who need help. I will be reposting from CARA Philippines. I hope you will support me on this. This is for a good cause. My way of sharing my blessings to the less fortunate ones.

Remember Paco from my last post? Here's an update:

Reposted from CARA...

First off: Ooops! There was a bit of miscommunication between us and our vets last week when we featured Paco. It turns out “Paco” is female! We’ve renamed her PAQUITA. (Yes, we are very creative at naming our rescues.)

Our partner vets at Pet Project report that Paquita’s appetite is very good. There’s a lot of improvement in her skin condition and her fur is steadily growing back. (At the time of rescue, she had several wounds and her skin was raw and bleeding.)

Paquita is a big dog and was very defensive when she was picked up from the streets. After only a few days at the clinic, she is learning to trust humans again and can be handled more easily. Blood tests have been done and if results are normal, Paquita will be spayed soon.

Thanks very much to everyone who contributed to Paquita’s medical fund. We will continue to keep you updated on her condition. We’re sure she’s going to be a gorgeous LADY in no time.

Random Thoughts

 Hello everyone!

I want to do some social duties and ask everyone to please help. This is not for me, but for some less fortunate furiends in my country.

CARA (Compassion and Responsiblility for Animals) Welfare Philippines is an organization that rescues street animals and find them a furever home. Recently they rescued Paco

Paco is a homeless woofie that was spotted one rainy night near the corner of South Luzon Express Way soaking wet and scavenging for food. He's suffering from several wounds and needed immediate help. He's currently being treated for his skin ailments and worms.

Donations in any amount will go a long way. Please visit CARA's FB page to know more on how to help Paco. May God bless your good heart for helping.

On a lighter note, I was featured at Pet Express' Pawsome Christmas Countdown. I was # 98. Mom uploaded my photo and told them if I have been naughty or nice this year. Of course Mom said I was NICE! That's very good, Mom. I will get a treat from Whiskas and will be part of their online raffle. Yey!

Like me on their Instagram @petexpressph and their FB page at Pet Express. Thank you!!!

I also pawticipated on Speedy's Talk like a Pirate and Anniversary Pawty! Oh, what fun seeing different pirate costumes and the foodies... Yummy!

Thanks, Speedy, for hosting!

My official entry

That's all fur today! Love, love, love!
